Fieldwork Schedule

The daily schedule of activities may not be the same in each target place. It must be adapted to the schedule generally observed by the people in the target place

GUIDELINES

  1. Make schedule to best suit your own situations.
  2. Make a daily plan to include the elements listed below.
  3. Don't make schedule too tight. Provide time for group to unwind.
  4. Be flexible but firm in implementing the schedule. Let the Holy Spirit be your daily guide. If He guides you to forgo with other activities and spend time to fast instead, do it!.

PROGRAM ELEMENTS

  1. SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION & FEEDING (Suggested time: Morning)
    Includes: Worship Time, Ministry of the Word, Testimonies, sharing of needs, prayer to minister to volunteers and one another. Deliverance from strongholds if needed.
    In Charge: Pastor Chaplain assisted by Squad leaders
  2. CONFRONT ACTIVITIES (Suggested to be done alternately with # 1)
    Includes: Intercession for contacts and converts, prayer warfare to tear down the strongholds & schemes of the enemy against the gospel work.
    In Charge: Field Director, Intern FD and PW assisting.
  3. ASSEMBLY FOR FD’S DIRECTIVES (Daily, morning)
    Includes: Reporting of results, plans for the day, directives of the FD and assignments.
    In Charge: FD assisted by squad leaders
  4. EQUIPPING SESSION (daily)
    Includes: Training planned by Team Trainer, quizzes, question and answer, review, etc.
    In Charge: Team Trainer
  5. MORNING contact-convert-congregate-consolidate activities (Daily)
  6. AFTERNOON (to EVENING) contact-convert-congregate-consolidate activities (Daily)
  7. RECORDING AND SUMMARIZING DAILY RESULTS (Suggested time: Late afternoon)
    Includes: transfering reports from volunteers’ notebooks to IPR forms. Team Scribe
    Summarize results for FD's use in meeting with LEAD GROUP
    In Charge: All members under supervision of Squad scribes and Team scribes.
  8. CAMP LIFE REGULARS
    Includes: Sleeping time, Waking time and lights off, Personal time - for laundry, other personal need, rest & recreation, Housekeeping times, meal times
  9. SIMULTANEOUS MEETINGS
    1. NIGHTLY LEAD GROUP MEETING (Evening)
      Purpose: FD and his lead group evaluate daily results and determine actions to take and assignments to give the next day.
      In Charge: FD with Lead Group: Intern, PW, Trainer, Team Officers & Squad Leaders
      Simultaneous with: SQUAD MEMBERS INDIVIDUAL STUDY TIME & PRAYER (squad Operations Officer overseeing)
    2. FD MEETING WITH PW AND INTERN (Suggested time: Afternoon before field work)
      Purpose: Mentoring for Intern, Strategizing, Counseling, Planning for PW’s more effective role in the work.
      Simulataneous with: SQUAD MEETING WITH SQUAD LEADER FOR goal setting, reporting, assignments, problem solving.
