Linking OURSELVES with the PEOPLE of the town. Linking the CONTACTS with JESUS CHRIST as Savior and Lord. Linking CONVERTS and GOOD CONTACTS with PIONEER WORKER & WITH ONE ANOTHER. Summarizing RESULTS to make them manageable for the Pioneer Worker.

MAJOR ACTIONS

Using all possible and applicable methods, ALL members of the SOS team go out to contact ALL kinds of people in the town. By conducting BIBLE STUDIES in one on one, small group or large group setting, LIFERS & LEADERS:
Lead CONTACTS thru conversion

Orient CONVERTS in Basic Christian Life and Growth.
Using ALL ways and in all types of meetings, ALL of the SOS team:
Link converts & contacts to PW & w/ one another.

MAKE ALL EFFORT to gather them in a Grand Opening Service

The SOS team fuses Bible studies into Large Bible Study centers and prepare organized records for turn over to the Pioneer Worker.

OBJECTIVES

Find out extent of open door.

Make presence known to town

Build friendship relationship first.

Overcome resistance, and prejudices

Win goodwill of town officials and key people

Spot influencers, sponsor type contacts.
Motivate people to open homes for Bible Study or attend one.

NOTE: At this stage people MAY or MAY NOT be led to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. A positive response for BS is GOOD ENOUGH!
Identify potential converts from among contacts.

Help contacts decide to convert from a life of sin to righteousness in Christ Jesus.

Persuade them about demands & exclusiveness of the gospel.

Assist contacts through conversion.

Evaluate if decisions & claims of conversion are genuine.

Clarify principles & aims of Christian Life/Growth.

Help new believers have a good start in their new life.

Promote leadership of PW.

Prepare new believers for Church Life.

Lead them to discover joy of fellowship & corporate worship

Gather them for a Grand Opening Service

Facilitate the formation of core group.

Provide smooth transition of responsibility from SOS team to PW & core group.

Facilitate first church meeting & appointment of provisional leaders

Determine final status of each converts contact at the conclusion of the SOS work. Leave sufficient information about each to help PW in his follow-up.

Form Large BS Centers out of the many individual Bible Studies. Enlist Bible Study Facilitators and Hosts for each.

Prepare systematically arranged records and reports to be turned over to the Pioneer Worker.
