IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?

TEXT: 1SM 17:24 - 53
Is there not a cause? Is it not a matter of importance? Is this not something that must be done? The young boy David reasoned that the whole Israelite has an exciting opportunity to do something about their situation that they should never let go! Forty days had passed and nothing was done against the giant who kept on defying the armies of the Living God! David weighed the options, considered the over-riding value, and counted the cost. What David did was explained by that challenge: Is there not a cause?

Conclusion: Conquest - of Fear, Lethargy, Passivity, Failures, Discouragement, Limitations, Mediocrity, Worldliness, Meaninglessness, Doubts, etc. We need to conquer every giant that paralyzes God’s people from doing God’s purposes. We need a Just Do it! Motto that David demonstrated on that day.
