SOS is a self-supporting program that does not rely on outside support. We would not offer Him anything that costs us nothing! 2 SAM 24:24

This means that a volunteer will raise his own fund or use his own money to participate in this mission work. Jesus said, "You received without paying now you give without being paid"MAT 10:8. It is an honorable work to preach God's message free of charge 2 CO 11:7

SOS volunteers will work, solicit, or save for several months. Employed believers apply for a month of leave of absence, some with pay, some without pay.

The sponsoring churches will help facilitate the fund raising. But it is the volunteer's responsibility to raise his own budget requirements.
