III. PHASE 3:
EQUIPPING
DESCRIPTION: starting to share the ministry with identified mature members in particular by motivating, training and mobilizing them; and in general, instructing and preparing the church for the expression of the priesthood of every believer and the exercise of giftings of the Holy Spirit. These efforts are directed towards qualitative and quantitative church growth and preparing resources for expansion.
I. OBJECTS OF MINISTRY:

IV. SUNDAY SERVICE AND SERMON EMPHASES:
Sunday Sermons to Motivate for Church Growth, and Ministry Involvement. Important Emphases: Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Priesthood of the Believers. Priority of Prayer and Teaching of the Word
V. WORKFORCE NEEDED:1. Workers for expansion for evangelism work; particularly Evangelistic Bible Study Leaders and evangelists, and follow -Up workers.
2. The Enlisted Workers for Prayer, Praise & Worship , Stewardship Functions during the Edifying Phase.
3. Workers for the functional edifying (nurture) groups. By this time, you can determine which of the fellowship groups you have started in the previous phase designed for the edification of different sectors of the church are functional and effective. You may decide to train a leader to handle these groups; such as Youth, children, Juniors, care group leaders.
4. Prospect Area Pastors and Barangay Pastors.
5. Other Additional staff you need according to the ministries you'll need for growth.
VI. TEACHING/TRAINING RESOURCE MATERIALS & METHODS:1. Teaching curriculum materials are suggested by the activities above. Several adaptable materials are available in BSM, SOS and F.A.R.M.,Inc. resource files. Assistance of Missions Pastors can be sought in drawing up training curriculum materials for your specific needs.
2. Standard training materials for specific leaders/groups are available in files of F.A.R.M.,Inc.
3. Several churches in an area can plan joint training sessions. In this case, F.A.R.M.,Inc. heads of said departments can be requested through the Missions Pastors. However, requests will be granted depending on availability and accessibility. The financial arrangements for such sessions will depend on the status of the churches requesting. As a rule, dates inclusive for such invitations should not include Sunday.
4. Mission Pastors can cover some of these training during their scheduled visits. The responsibility of the pastor is to recruit and prepare the specific people to be trained for such departmental functions.
V. NUMERICAL GOAL1. At least, doubling of workforce for existing functions such as intercessors, follow-up workers, evangelistic Bible study leaders.
2. Stewardship, Praise & Worship Departments functionally organized with trained workers.
3. One to two workers recruited, trained and mobilized for the nurture ministries evaluated functional and needed to be continued such as Youth, Juniors, Interest Groups, Sunday School, etc.
4. Proportionate number of care group leaders to the size of your church.
5. A number of prospect area pastors corresponding to number of areas into which you plan to apportion your area of ministry.
6. A number of prospect barangay pastors corresponding to the number of baranggays you plan to reach out during the next phase (2 workers per baranggays will be ideal).
7. At least 80% of the congregation have working knowledge of the priesthood of every believer and realization of their share in the ministry of the church and consequently begin to express these through every opportunity available.
8. At least 80 % of the congregation have adequate knowledge about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and their operation; 50% of them have discovered and has started to exercise the gifting.
VI. TIME FRAME:
6-8 months. Promotion and prospecting of workers starts during the 10th month from onset of ministry. This is corresponding to the 7th month of the 8-month period for edifying phase.
