A. Determine the BOUNDARIES or LIMITS of your mission work (v.5-6). Identify the people you want to reach, be specific. Target Area.

B. Determine the KIND OF MINISTRY you will be involved in (v.7-8). What kind of things will you do? Application of Training.

C. Determine HOW YOU WILL BE SUPPORTED (v.9-10). Trust God but be open to options. Remember that mission is a partnership, PHI 1:4-5 4:10-19 Sending church, family, or yourself are options for your support, ACT 18:2-4.

D. Determine where the BASE OF OPERATION (HEADQUARTER) WILL BE (v.11-14). Where will you stay? Seek for a worthy person, a deserving home, they will welcome or listen to your words. Maybe a rented house (ACT 28:30-31), a friend's house, a public building, your own house.

E. Determine to be TOUGH (V.16-42) Be prepared. Know what to do when worse come to worst. This kind of work needs a specially tough person. The work is warfare! Where the going gets rough and the tough gets going. You are invading an enemy territory. No retreat, no surrender, only victory.
